A financial endowment is a legal structure for managing, and in many cases indefinitely perpetuating, a pool of financial, real estate, or other investments for a specific purpose according to the will of its founders and donors.
[1] Endowments are often structured so that the principal value is kept intact, while the investment income or a small part of the principal is available for use each year.
- Service Fund For Foundation Operations - DONATE
Provides the donor the opportunity to support the Community Foundations internal operations.
- Cades Mill and Wallace Covered Bridge Fund - DONATE
The purpose of the Cades Mill and Wallace Covered Bridge Pass-Through Fund is to provide for the maintenance, repair and restoration of the Cades Mill and Wallace Covered Bridge and to promote the historical or architectural significance of the bridge to the community, thus promoting an appreciation of community history to the educational benefit of the general public.
- Fountain County 1842 Historic Clerks Building Fund - DONATE
Provides funding for operating and maintaining the historic 1842 clerks building museum in Covington.
- Fountain County Art Council Fund - DONATE
Provides funding for promotion of the visual and performing arts, culture, and historic preservation in the Wabash Valley.
- Fountain County Courthouse Murals Preservation Fund - DONATE
The historic courthouse murals were painted using the al fresco method used by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel (oil on plaster). The Wabash River Sketch Club took on the task of painting the 2,500 square feet of murals under the direction of hometown boy and world-renown muralist, Eugene F. Savage. The project took almost two years to complete, costing the county a total of $5,000, and the murals have maintained a priceless appraisal value. The murals include a variety of nationalities, types of housing, native animals, transportation modes, foods, celebrations, clothing styles, wars, schools, bridges, courthouses, and the list goes on and on. Nowhere in the world do murals totaling over 2,500 square feet portray the settlement and development of the country and area. Additionally, the murals were painted by female artists at that time not considered professional artists-ten of the eleven artists were women. Age, climate conditions, and aging infrastructure of the courthouse have taken its toll on the murals over the last 77 years. Professional conservation is now needed to assure their existence as a record of history for future generations.
- Historic Sites of Fountain County Fund - DONATE
Provides financial support for the upkeep and maintenance of historic sites in the Fountain County area.
- Silver Island Cemetery Association Fund - DONATE
Daily upkeep and ongoing maintenance are required to care for the cemetery to combat deterioration by preserving, beautifying, and maintaining abandoned or deteriorating graves and for the care and replacement of trees, flowers, shrubbery, etc. Also, the fund assists in providing an educational benefit to the general public and promote appreciation for community history by maintaining, repairing, and restoring monuments, headstones, and grave markers of historical or architectural significance.

Provides support for projects in Fountain County.
- Cain Township Cemetery Preservation Fund - DONATE
Provides grants for the preservation of the cemeteries located in Cain Township.
- Charles and Kathryn Howard Memorial for dArlier Programs - DONATE
To support cultural and educational programs held at George dArlier properties for the benefit of Veedersburg and surrounding communities.

Provides grants for projects and organizations as approved by the Board of Directors of the Southeast Fountain Community Foundation.

- Community Disaster Relief Fund of Fountain County - DONATE
The Community Disaster Relief Fund of Fountain County has a purpose to leverage public and private resources and to make the greatest impact in long-term recovery efforts for individuals and communities in Fountain County impacted by a variety of disasters such as; the COVID-19 global pandemic, shootings, and natural disasters (floods, tornados, storms).

Provides grants for a variety of purposes in meeting the charitable needs of the Southeast Fountain County area.
- Every 15 Minutes Program - DONATE
Every 15 Minutes is a two-day program focusing on high school juniors and seniors, which challenges them to think about drinking, driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions. Along with alcohol-related crashes, it focuses on the impact that their decisions would have on family and friends.

Provides grants in Fountain County for services to aid victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Provides grants for a variety of purposes in meeting the charitable needs of the Southeast Fountain County area.

Provides support through grants awarded for community projects in Hillsboro and Cain Township as directed by the officers of the Hillsboro Community Booster Club.

Provides support through grants awarded for community projects in Hillsboro, Southeast Fountain School Corporation and to the Fountain County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Provides financial support for projects in Fountain County for programs including Health and Safety. Also provides support for scholarships for Automotive, Vocational and Mechanical Engineering degrees.

Grant funds are provided to the health supervisor of the Southeast Fountain Elementary School to be used for children in need.

Provides grants to meet the ever-changing needs in the communities of: Veedersburg, Hillsboro, Kingman, Wallace, Mellott and Newtown.
- Veedersburg American Legion Post 288 - DONATE
Provides support for charitable purposes not limited to community projects in the Veedersburg and Van Buren township in Fountain County, as recommended by Veedersburg American Legion Post 288.
- VFW Emergency Relief Fund - DONATE
The Fountain County VFW Post #2395 was destroyed by to a devastating fire on Friday, August 27, 2021. The VFW Emergency Relief Fund will assist with any costs associated with the repair, replacement, and other costs associated with the fire disaster, which are above and beyond those items not covered by insurance or which may be of an immediate nature. The construction of the new facility began in March 2023 with hopes of the new Post to be completed this summer. Charitable donations are being accepted to purchase new tables, chairs, memorabilia to outfit the facility, and other miscellaneous equipment needs.

Provides financial support for capital expenditures at the 4-H Fairgrounds and/or award scholarship grants.

Provides financial support for projects and activities of the Fountain County 4-H Junior Leaders.

This fund has been established to support capital improvements and upgrades to the facilities at the Fountain County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Provides support for projects of the Fountain County ARC Shawnee Center to carry out and fulfill its role and mission.
- Hope Springs Womens Safe House Fund - DONATE
Provides support for the day-to-day operations of the shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
- Jackson Township Fire Department Fund - DONATE
This fund has been established to assist in providing support for the fire and rescue services of the Jackson Township Fire Department. The support of fire and rescue services may include but are not limited to: services that offer protection, safety, and education to the public, training programs that prepare skilled volunteers with the knowledge to perform their duties, regular operating support for the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department includes, but is not limited to occupancy costs (utilities, insurance, technology, supplies), staff development, marketing and public relations expenses, etc., start-up costs for new initiatives and programs associated with and/or offered by the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department, and capital costs associated with the fire and rescue services, including the purchasing of equipment, facility upgrades, expansion, re-location, etc.

This fund has been established to assist in providing support for the fire and rescue services of the Kingman Volunteer Firefighters, Inc.

Provides an annual monetary award to a 4-H member who has excelled in the study of nature, with priority given to forestry, weeds, birds or wildlife programs.

Provides support for the long-term care, maintenance, and historic preservation of Silver Island Cemetery from the earnings of the endowment fund.

Provides a scholarship to a Fountain Central High School graduate pursuing a four-year college degree, must have a 2.0 GPA and/or be in the top 50% of the graduating class and exhibit strong leadership, character and conduct.

- Bud Smith - United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides a scholarship to a graduate of Fountain Central High School with priority given to an individual pursuing a baccalaureate degree in theology at a college with an established program for religious studies.
- Cameron Cheuvront Memorial Scholarship Fund - DONATE
This scholarship is to benefit area seniors from North Vermillion High School, Westville High School, or other senior students who attend a Wabash River Conference high school. Students pursuing a field of study or career in the trades and technical career pathway are strongly encouraged to apply along with students enrolling at a two-year or four-year public or private college or university. The 1st scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors in the spring of 2023.

Provides scholarships to Fountain Central or Covington High school students pursuing a degree in medicine or nursing.

Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School that exhibit a financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Dr. Roger K. Duncan Education Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides a scholarship for a graduate of a Fountain County or Warren County public high school. Priority is for students who are music education majors with a wind or percussion instrument specialty.
- Dr. William Somerville Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Applicants for the scholarship must be accepted as a part-time (minimum of 6 hours) or full-time (minimum of 12 hours) student at any two-year community college or four-year public college or university in the United States. Applicants should have intentions of pursuing a career in animal care and/or veterinary medicine and be in the process of completing the second year of the Veterinary Science Program through the Wabash River Career and Technical Education (WRCTE) Co-Operative.

- Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Applicants for The Pay It Forward Scholarship must be pursuing a career trade such as aviation, machining, dental, electrical, welding, medical, plumbing, robotics, construction, and the like. This is not an exhaustive list; however, one of the key intentions of the scholarship is to provide an award to a student who is pursuing a career that is reflective of trade work.

This fund will provide a scholarship to a graduate of Fountain Central High School who has a minimum GPA of 2.5. Several selection criteria will be taken into consideration when selecting the recipients with the highest priorities given to a students financial need, academic merit (diploma type, GPA, class rank) and their involvement in either school based activities or work experience.

Provides scholarship for graduates of Fountain Central High School who reside in the Hillsboro area/Cain Township.

Provides a scholarship to a graduate of Covington, Attica, or Fountain Central High School pursuing a degree or career in criminal justice, corrections, law enforcement, forensic and private investigations and the like.

Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School who exhibit a financial need and have at least a 2.75 GPA.
- Steel Grip Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides scholarships to a Fountain Central and Covington High School graduate furthering their education. Children or grandchildren of Steel Grip employees supersede all other candidates.
- Susan Fischer Memorial 4-H Scholarship Fund - DONATE
For 10-year members of 4-H who are graduates of Attica, Covington or Fountain Central High School.
- Terry A. Badger III Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Established in 2023, this scholarship is awarded to a senior student who graduates from a Wabash River Conference School. The award is based upon Academic Performance (GPA/Class Rank) and an individuals performance in the entire Wabash River Conference, for High School Baseball, which highlights their excellence, exemplariness, and outstanding performance amidst their peers in the Wabash River Conference.

To provide scholarships for graduates of Attica, Covington, and Fountain Central High School.
- VFW Post 2395 Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Selection priority will be given to applicants who are the children and/or grandchildren of members of VFW Post 2395 or VFW Post 2395 Ladies or Mens Auxiliary. However, if there are no applicant(s) that meet this criteria, then graduates of Covington High School and who are also residents of one of the townships that comprise the Covington Community School Corporation District at the time the scholarship fund was established (Troy, Wabash, Fulton, Mound) become eligible for the scholarship. One scholarship will be awarded per year. Several criteria will be taken into consideration when selecting the recipients with the highest priorities being the applicants financial need, academic merit (diploma type, GPA, class rank) and community/volunteer service during their high school years.
