The Southeast Fountain Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Western Indiana Community Foundation, is pleased to announce a $2,500 grant to the Newtown Community Church in support of its annual Newtown Back-2-School Program.
This community-driven program provides school supplies and clothing to Fountain County students in need, helping families prepare for the upcoming school year and ensuring children have the tools necessary for success in the classroom.
“The Southeast Fountain Community Foundation is proud to support programs that directly benefit local students and families,” said Taylor Powell, CEO of the Western Indiana Community Foundation. “Helping students start the school year with confidence and the resources they need is a meaningful investment in our community’s future.”
The Newtown Community Church Back-2-School Program has become a vital resource for many families in the area. This grant will allow the program to continue reaching even more students as they head into a new school year.
