The Vermillion County Community Foundation has awarded a $500 grant to support North Vermillion High School’s Post Prom. The funding will provide entertainment for the 2026 event.
Organized each year by a dedicated group of parents and volunteers, Post Prom offers students a structured and supervised environment following prom night, creating a fun and engaging experience while prioritizing safety.
“Post Prom gives North Vermillion students a safe and fun place to go after the dance, encouraging a drug- and alcohol-free environment where they can continue spending time together,” said Tiffany Downs, a North Vermillion Post Prom Committee member. “Students will have the chance to win door prizes, enjoy games, inflatable obstacle courses, dancing, and food. We’ll also have several chaperones on site, along with our SRO.”
Supported by fundraising, volunteers, and planning, the Post Prom committee continues this important tradition for North Vermillion High School students. This grant helps provide a fun and accessible event, with safety as a main priority.
