The Southeast Fountain Community Foundation is proud to announce the awarding of a $20,000 grant to support the installation of a new playground at John Carver Memorial Park in Stone Bluff. The project will help create a safe, welcoming, and accessible recreational space for children and families in the community.
The new playground will provide children with opportunities to play, socialize, and stay active while giving families a place to gather and enjoy the outdoors together. Community leaders hope the addition will further enhance John Carver Memorial Park as a destination for residents of all ages.
Taylor Powell, CEO of the Western Indiana Community Foundation, shared his enthusiasm for the project. “We are proud to support this effort to create a safe and welcoming playground area for local families,” said Powell.
