The Vermillion County Community Foundation has awarded a $1,500 grant to Wabash Valley 83 Cluster to bring warmth, care, and holiday cheer to students in the North Vermillion Life Skills Program in the 2026-2027 school year.
The project provides each student with a bag filled with special gifts, including Falcon gear, daily hygiene products, and many surprise gifts. Wabash Valley 83 Cluster will thoughtfully assemble each gift, selecting items based on individual sizes, preferences, and sensory needs to ensure every gift is both meaningful and high-quality.
“This project captures the true spirit of the season: kindness, inclusion, and community,” said Taylor Powell, CEO of the Vermillion County Community Foundation. “We’re proud to support a program that helps every student feel seen, valued, and cared for.”
