EDUCATION

Outstanding Educator Award
Provides funding to award a grant, which acknowledges an educator who makes a difference in the Covington school system.

Robert L. Buser Service & Leadership Award
To provide recognition of a student providing exemplary service and leadership to Covington High School.



SCHOLARSHIPS
Attica Alumni Association Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to an Attica High School senior pursuing a degree at a college or university.

Attica Class of 1954 Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to an Attica High School senior pursuing an education in a vocational field.

Bradley Fishero Memorial Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to a Fountain Central High School graduate.

Christine Brunner - Good Citizen Award
Provides a scholarship to the Covington Middle School "Good Citizen Award" recipient upon graduation from high school.

Covington Citizens' Scholarship
Provides funding for scholarships to graduates of Covington High School.  Priority is given to students in the top 50% of the class.

Covington Community Foundation Book Reimbursement Program
Awarded for financial support of book and equipment expenses to Covington High School graduates. Twelve students who were Covington finalists for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship are eligible for $600/year for four years. All other Covington graduates in a four-year degree program are eligible for $400/year for three years. Those Covington graduates in a two-year degree or vocational program are eligible for $200/semester for three semesters.

Dave Sanders Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School.

Don & Georgeanna Ford Volleyball Scholarship
Provides funding for graduates from Covington High School who have lettered in girls varsity volleyball.

Elouise J. Shade Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School majoring in special education, music education, elementary education, or secondary education.

Fountain County Tuition Assistance

Provides funding for qualified graduates from Fountain Central or Covington High School for the purchase of required instructional materials which are recommended for the specific courses that the student is taking.

Gene & Nona Martin Scholarship
Provides scholarships to students residing in Kingman or Mill Creek Township.

H. Wilma Fisher Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School pursuing a career in the “Arts or Fine Arts”.

Helen VanDorn Shelby Scholarship
Awards scholarships to graduates of Covington High School.

Herman & Genevieve Simmons Scholarship
Provides scholarships to students residing in Fulton and Mill Creek Townships in Fountain County.

Herschel and Barbara Clark Athletic Scholarship
Provides an award to a student-athlete at Fountain Central High School who exhibits strong leadership, character, and sportsmanship. Must rank in the top 1/3 of the class.

Hoffman Aesculapian Scholarship
Provides funding for graduates of Covington High School pursuing a degree in medicine or nursing.

Hoffman Trojan Scholars Award
Provides funding for scholarships to graduates of Covington High School.

James D. Fenters Scholarship
For Attica High School graduates in the top 15% of the class. Must be active in school and community organizations.

Jerri Purgason Memorial Scholarship
For those seeking a career in the medical field. Priority given to college level upperclassmen.

Jessica E. Coats Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School who are pursuing a career in Nursing.

Judith Woodrow Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarships to Covington High School graduates who attend the Covington United Methodist Church and major in teacher education.

Keith & Steven Barnhart Scholarship
Provides support for a scholarship for an Attica High School graduate.

Kevin L. & Marilyn M. Woodrow Scholarship
Awards scholarships to graduates of Covington High School in the top half of their graduating class.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship
Provides two full-tuition scholarships to graduates of a Fountain County accredited high school.

Malcolm C. Spencer, M.D. Scholarship
Provides funding for graduates of Fountain Central or Covington High School pursuing a degree in medicine or nursing.

MasterGuard Community Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Attica, Covington or Fountain Central High School who are pursuing a degree in automotive technology or engineering.

Mellott Community Bible Church Scholarship
Provides funds to award scholarships to graduates of an accredited area high school. Priority will be given to individuals who are members of the Mellott Community Bible Church.

Paul G. Ingersoll Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School.

Potawatomi Festival Scholarship Fund
For those who exhibit leadership qualities and/or skills in school, community or church activities.

Rafferty Memorial Scholarship
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School residing in the Hillsboro area.

Reagan & Hazel Mallett Scholarship
Provides a scholarship for an Attica, Covington or Fountain Central High School graduate majoring in agribusiness operations or agriculture economics.

Richard Ashton Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to a Covington High School graduate.

Rick Williams Memorial Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to an area high school graduate. Children and grandchildren of Old National and Old National Trust employees supersede other eligible applicants.

Steel Grip Scholarship
Provides scholarships to Covington High School or Fountain Central High School graduates furthering their education. Children and grandchildren of Steel Grip employees supersede all other candidates.
