Welcome! The Western Indiana Community Foundation is a public charity, founded in 1990, conceived by a group of citizens whose desire is to use donated monies for the betterment of their communities. The Foundation shares the same dream as its forefathers: prosperity, expansion, and enhancement for its citizens.

NEW!  CONGRATULATIONS to the City of Attica as the recipient of a $330,402 Downtown Facade Renovation Grant from the State of Indiana. This grant will assist in invigorating the downtown appearance, attract additional business, inspire participants and non-participants to make additional improvements, and prevent any further loss of Attica's treasured historic buildings.  Donations to offset the costs of the grant administration are being accepted by the Attica Community Foundation and can be made online. Simply press the DONATE button on this page for more information.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND ESTABLISHED: The Covington Citizens' Scholarship Foundation (Dollars for Scholars) has established a scholarship fund at the Foundation.  The Covington chapter, established in 1964, was the first chapter established in the state of Indiana.  This volunteer-driven organization helps CHS students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds and distributing scholarships to graduates.  Students in the top 50% of the graduating class are eligible.

The Covington Fire Department is a proud recipient of a $7,000 grant from the Covington Community Foundation.  The donation will allow for the purchase of an off-road rescue/transport vehicle for medical emergencies that take place in limited access areas.
