Grants Benefit 4-H Programs in Fountain County

Grant Focus
The Western Indiana Community Foundation (Attica, Covington, and Southeast Fountain Community Foundations) focuses its attention on local needs within the geographical boundaries as set by the Board of Directors (i.e. the school corporation boundaries), with consideration given to the areas of health, charitable service, education, cultural affairs, and community improvement. All endowment funds, which stipulate in the fund agreement the areas to be supported from the income, earned on the fund assets will be honored regardless of location of grant recipient. |
Grant Review
The grants committee of each community foundation will review each grant request in preparation for the regular review by their Board of Directors. Grant applications may be submitted at anytime throughout the year. Applicants will be notified immediately following the Board of Directors decision. |

Startup costs for new programs, |
One time projects or needs, |
Capital needs beyond an applicant’s capabilities and needs |

| The Western Indiana Community Foundation will not consider: |
Individuals except for scholarships other than for continuing professional education, |
Organizations for political or religious purposes, |
Support for regular operating budgets, |
Contributions to endowments, |
Provide long term funding, |
Post-event situations, |
Apparel such as school/sport uniforms |
